Dear
Allie Absent;
The
December meeting started with a tour of Judy's house
that was
decorated beautifully in every room for Christmas.
We were
welcomed in her main living room and Julia asked
the blessing
over the food all the members brought to share.
Joanne
was presented with a lap quilt that the group
made on one
of our work days for her mother in the nursing home.
Judy handed
out the block of the month for January and the fun
began with
our gift swapping game. Everyone had a fun time and
the guest
left with wishes of Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.
It seems
like yesterday a group of ladies decided to try and form a guild
to promote
quilting in our area. The friends and experiences we have shared
made this
year a treasure indeed. To all who attended meeting, brought items
to show and
tell, or just came to learn more about the craft of quilting;
I'd like to
express my gratitude for your efforts. May God bless you.
As always,
Katie

A Christmas Party hosted by Judy Stokes for members of The Possum Town Quilters.
A few pictures of the fun time we all enjoyed!
That "Dirty or Greedy Santa" game provided laughter and cries of woe.
Thank you, Judy!
